Choosing a new family member is a very important decision. Our knowledgeable staff will assist in any way possible to help make the decision in adding a pet to your family.  We encourage you to bring your current pets to interact with a potential adopter (dogs only).  You can take them our Dog Park and let them play.  When you visit our adoption facility and find the perfect fit you will be asked to fill out an application. These questions are designed to assist our staff in helping you choose the best fit for your family.  Adoption viewing is available between 12pm to 4pm Tuesday through Friday and Saturday betwen 10am to 2pm.

Thanks for your interest in adopting a shelter dog or cat! At Claiborne Animal Shelter, all of our animals are de-wormed, up to date on shots, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to going home.  Dog adoptions: $150  Cat adoptions $50
